‘Hallucination’ exhibition

3 April – 28 April
Rosalie Gallery – Goombungee

The Traveler’, oil on canvas, 40 cm x 50 cm, 2024

In a world where technology continues to shape our perceptions and interactions, I invite you to view my latest work in my upcoming exhibition, 'Hallucination'. In these works, I am experimenting with the evolution of new tools that are changing how, what, and why we create art.

In this exhibition, I have created AI-generated imagery to use as reference images for new works on canvas using traditional painting techniques. I am also showing my earlier explorations into 3D modeling software to create repeatable sculptural forms. The main intellectual theme of this new work is about how I am currently processing my feelings of being human in this new world of AI-assisted living.

These 2D and 3D artworks blur the lines between the tangible, the virtual, the human, and the machine, they will be on display at the Rosalie Gallery in April. Join me on the 6th of April for an artist talk.
